Apple releases iOS 5.1.1.

Apple is addressing numerous vulnerabilities with iOS 5.1.1 which is affecting iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch, iPad, and iPad 2.

Article HT5278 describes a vulnerability in Safari that can redirect users to a malicious websites; the bug was fixed by improving the URL handling. Also, Apple has repaired a problem in the WebKit which could lead a cross-site scripting attack or arbitrary code execution.

We recommend updating to iOS 5.1.1 immediately.
