Microsoft announces its monthly security update.

Inside ImageMicrosoft has released its Security Advance Notification for August 2012 which will bring 9 bulletins to repair numerous vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, SQL Server, Developer tools, and Microsoft Exchange.

Microsoft labels five bulletins as critical and four as important. Once again, Microsoft is planning to fix a remote code execution and elevation of privilege vulnerabilities. In the August security patch, Microsoft has included Exchange versions 2007 and 2010.

There is not a known vulnerability that is being exploiting at this time. The security update will be available on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. We recommend updating immediately.
